Catman2 has finally expanded after only having one employee for 15 years. Meet the team!

Kaleb
Executive Director

Kaleb worked directly under Catman2’s founder Dr. Harold Sims since 2010 and is dedicated to carrying on his legacy by creating and expanding programs designed to positively impact cats and the humans who care about them. He is a licensed wildlife rehabilitator for the state of North Carolina and enjoys providing lifesaving care to “not cats” whenever he can fit it into his schedule. In his little free time, you can find him in the woods or by the river looking for cool rocks, plants, and critters.

Ben
Shelter Attendant

Ben has more than a decade of experience caring for senior cats and cats with special medical conditions including diabetes, cancer and kidney disease.  He has previously volunteered at the Jackson County Animal Shelter in Jackson County, North Carolina, as well as the Project Chimps sanctuary for chimpanzees in Fannin County, Georgia.
Ben also runs his own pet care service, Pinnacle Pet Care, offering in-home pet services such as feeding, administering medication and socializing.  Whether you’re traveling, working, or you just need some help with your pets, call Pinnacle Pet Care 828-412-1418.

Erin
Shelter Attendant

Erin has been in animal rescue for nearly a decade along with having her own pet sitting business for nearly two decades. She has a Mini Poodle that was born without eyes, a Yorkshire terrier mix, and a Ragdoll cat that has idiopathic epilepsy who is shown in the picture.

Erin also loves being outside digging in her garden or hiking on the parkway or whitewater river rafting when she gets to time to do such things. She looks forward to meeting all the people who are involved with Catman2 making new friends – both human and feline.
