Catman2 is a cage free cat sanctuary located in Cullowhee, North Carolina. Known as the best little cat house in the area, Catman2 provides a calm, enriched environment designed around the needs of cats.
We are located just minutes from Western Carolina University and serve Jackson County and surrounding Western North Carolina communities including Sylva, Webster, Cashiers, Highlands and Waynesville.

Catman2 operates by appointment only.
We welcome visitors, adopters and volunteers, but because we are a small sanctuary with only one employee, we cannot be onsite at all times. Daily care, vet visits and errands require us to step away from the property regularly.

Directions to Catman2
Because we are tucked into the mountains, GPS can occasionally be unreliable. Please review directions before leaving.
From Cullowhee
From Route 107, about one mile south of Western Carolina University, turn right onto Cullowhee Mountain Road at the stoplight. Pass the Jackson County Recreation Center.
About one and a half miles from Route 107, the road will fork. Go right onto Tilley Creek Road. Travel about 100 feet and make an immediate right onto Bo Cove Road near Cullowhee Valley Baptist Church.
Go approximately one half mile. Look for the cat mailboxes on the left and a sign on a tree that reads Tabby Road. The large green house in the center is the sanctuary. Park near the chain link fence or garage and enter through the gate.

From Sylva
Take Route 107 South past Western Carolina University and follow the Cullowhee directions above.
From Cashiers, Highlands, Franklin and Route 64
Follow Route 64 to Cashiers and take Highway 107 North toward Sylva. Continue about 20 miles. At the traffic light, turn left onto Cullowhee Mountain Road and follow directions above.
From I-40
Take Exit 27 toward Waynesville and Sylva on 23/74. Take Exit 85 toward Sylva. At the stoplight, turn left toward Cullowhee and Western Carolina University onto 107 South. Continue past the university and follow the Cullowhee directions above.
From Highway 441
If traveling north from Georgia or Franklin, follow 441 North to Route 116 through Webster. At Highway 107 near Ingles, turn right and travel past Western Carolina University. Then follow Cullowhee directions above.

Catman2 is currently on an intake hold and is only accepting cats directly from our local animal shelter.
