Catman2 works closely with local veterinarians, shelters, rescue organizations and community partners who help make our work possible. These partnerships support our mission of saving cats, reducing overpopulation and improving the lives of animals throughout Western North Carolina.
Sylva Animal Hospital
The primary veterinary clinic supporting Catman2 for more than 20 years. Dr. Black and her staff provide compassionate care and medical treatment for many of the cats that come through the shelter. Their dedication helps ensure that rescued cats receive the veterinary care they need before finding loving homes.

Smoky Mountain Integrative Veterinary Care
Catman2 also works with Smoky Mountain Integrative Veterinary Clinic for special needs and complex medical cases. Led by Dr. Tami Shearer, the clinic provides compassionate integrative care that combines traditional veterinary medicine with advanced therapies. Dr. Tami has helped several Catman2 animals over the years, including performing laser therapy on a rescued domestic rabbit.

Jackson County Animal Shelter
Catman2 works closely with the county shelter to help cats who need additional care, rehabilitation or placement. Through this partnership, many cats are able to receive medical attention and find new homes through adoption.

ARF – Humane Society of Jackson County
ARF is a nonprofit organization that supports the Jackson County Animal Shelter through fundraising, volunteer coordination and community programs. Together with Catman2, they help promote adoption and responsible pet ownership in the region.

Cherokee Animal Care Clinic
Catman2 also works with Cherokee Animal Care Clinic for injured wildlife and specialized animal care. Dr. Robbie provides veterinary treatment for animals in need and has assisted Catman2 with the care of injured wildlife brought to the sanctuary. Their support helps ensure that animals receive professional medical attention and the best chance for recovery.

Cope Creek Animal Hospital
